Rental agreement

Myrtle Beach Balloons and Helium

This Rental and Service Agreement applies to every rental, delivery, installation, balloon decor order, entertainment booking, and special-effects service provided by Myrtle Beach Balloons and Helium, a division of Whimsical Wonder Balloons, LLC. By signing an estimate, approving an invoice, making a payment, or accepting delivery or service, the customer agrees to these terms.

1. Services and rental items

These terms cover balloon arches, garlands, columns, walls, centerpieces, ceiling treatments, balloon drops, bouquets, backdrops, fabric draping, fabric rentals for draping, helium tank rentals, inflator and accessory rentals, confetti cannon rentals, foam machine and foam cannon rentals, bubble machines, gender reveal powder cannon rentals, balloon twisting, magic, face painting, delivery, setup, takedown, and any other rental item, entertainment, decor, or event service we may offer.

2. Reservations and payment

Reservations are subject to availability and are not confirmed until the required payment is received. All orders are prepaid with a major credit card to secure the event date and help ensure stock availability. Any remaining balance, delivery charge, service charge, tax, deposit, or security hold shown on the approved invoice is due as stated on that invoice before service or release of rental items.

3. Changes, cancellations, and rescheduling

Requests to change, cancel, or reschedule an order must be made as soon as possible. Changes are subject to product availability, staffing, venue timing, and any costs already incurred. Any credit, cancellation charge, or refund will follow the written terms on the approved estimate or invoice and the circumstances of the order.

4. Customer and venue responsibilities

The customer is responsible for providing accurate event details, obtaining venue approval, reserving adequate access and setup time, and ensuring a safe, suitable space for the agreed service or rental. The customer must tell us about venue restrictions, stairs, elevators, parking, loading access, weather exposure, power availability, sprinklers, open flames, ceilings, and any other conditions that may affect the work. Additional time, labor, travel, or equipment needed because of undisclosed conditions may result in added charges.

5. Balloon decor, backdrops, and fabric draping

Balloon decor is custom-made for the event and may vary slightly from inspiration photos because of material availability, venue conditions, lighting, and safe installation requirements. Outdoor balloon decor can be affected by heat, wind, rain, sun, and temperature changes. Fabric draping, fabric rentals, and backdrops require appropriate venue-approved attachment points, access, and setup conditions. We are not responsible for changes in appearance caused by weather, venue conditions, guest contact, or circumstances outside our control after setup is complete.

6. Equipment rentals and safe operation

Rental equipment remains our property at all times. The customer must keep rental items secure, clean, dry when applicable, and used only as instructed. Helium tanks must remain upright, secured from tipping, protected from heat and flames, and operated only by responsible adults. Confetti cannons, foam equipment, bubble machines, powder cannons, inflators, and other equipment must be used only as directed and only in locations approved by the venue and appropriate for that equipment. The customer must not alter, repair, move, or loan rental equipment without our written approval.

7. Special effects and gender reveal products

Confetti, foam, bubbles, powder, and other special effects require venue approval and must be used in accordance with venue rules and applicable safety requirements. The customer is responsible for confirming that the venue permits the selected effect and for any cleaning, damage, or fines caused by unauthorized use or use outside the agreed plan. Gender reveal powder cannon colors and effects must remain confidential until the agreed reveal time; the customer is responsible for giving us the correct color instruction.

8. Entertainment services

For balloon twisting, magic, face painting, and other entertainment, the customer is responsible for maintaining a safe event area, controlling guest behavior, and providing any agreed space, shade, seating, power, or access. A responsible adult must supervise children at events where children are present. We may pause, modify, or end a service when conditions are unsafe, abusive, illegal, or materially different from the booked event.

9. Delivery, pickup, return, loss, and damage

Delivery, pickup, and return times are the times listed on the order confirmation. The customer is responsible for rental items from the time of delivery or pickup until they are returned to and accepted by us. The customer authorizes reasonable replacement, repair, cleaning, late-return, or collection charges for items that are lost, stolen, damaged, excessively dirty, or returned late, including damage caused by guests, weather, pets, vehicles, or misuse.

10. Safety and liability

The customer and guests must follow all safety directions we provide. Balloons, cords, weights, tanks, decor structures, and special-effects equipment can present risks if handled improperly. To the extent permitted by law, Myrtle Beach Balloons and Helium is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from venue restrictions, weather, power loss, guest conduct, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. The customer is responsible for claims or costs arising from unauthorized, unsafe, or improper use of rental items after delivery or pickup.

11. Agreement and questions

The approved invoice, estimate, and any written event instructions are part of this agreement. If a term on the approved invoice conflicts with this page, the invoice term controls for that order. Questions about an upcoming rental or service can be answered before booking by calling 843-241-9951.
